1 Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to EcoCampus. This mobile application is owned and operated by B.K. Birla Night College ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the EcoCampus app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the application.

2 Eligibility & Registration

The App is intended exclusively for current students of B.K. Birla Night College. To access the features, you must:

  • Possess a valid, active Student ID issued by the College.
  • Register using your accurate academic details (Course, Year, Roll Number).
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.

3 EcoPoints, Rewards & Virtual Currency

  • ● No Monetary Value: "EcoPoints" are a virtual currency used solely for gamification and engagement. They hold no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real currency.
  • ● Subject to Availability: Rewards listed in the Eco-Store (e.g., coupons, merchandise) are subject to stock availability. We reserve the right to modify point costs or remove items without prior notice.
  • ● Non-Transferable: Points are linked to your Student ID and cannot be transferred, sold, or gifted to other accounts.

4 User Conduct & Anti-Fraud Policy

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards manipulation of the system. Prohibited activities include:

  • Falsifying plastic recycling logs or impact data.
  • Scanning QR codes for events you did not physically attend.
  • Using automated scripts, emulators, or bots to generate points.

Consequences: Violation of this policy may result in the immediate revocation of all points, a permanent ban from the App, and reporting to the College Administration for disciplinary action.

5 User Content & Media Rights

By uploading content (including but not limited to photos for challenges, Green Lens submissions, or profile pictures), you grant B.K. Birla Night College and the Green Club a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content on official social media channels, campus screens, and marketing materials for the purpose of promoting sustainability initiatives.

6 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Maharashtra, India.
