B.K. Birla Night College ("we," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the EcoCampus application collects, uses, and safeguards your information in accordance with Indian data protection laws.

Information We Collect

Identity Data

We collect your Full Name, Student ID, Course, Mobile Number, and Email Address to verify your identity as a valid student of the college.

Camera Access

We require camera access to allow you to upload photos for challenges, scan Event/Reward QR codes, and update your profile picture.

Location Data

We access your device's location only when you are on the Dashboard to fetch the real-time Air Quality Index (AQI). We do not track background location.

How We Use Your Data

To maintain the Leaderboard and display your academic performance in sustainability.
To verify participation in Green Club events and allocate EcoPoints.
To process reward redemptions and prevent fraud.
To highlight top-performing students on college social media (based on your Terms of Service agreement).

Data Security & Rights

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to external third-party advertisers.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to your data or request account deletion. Note that deleting your account will permanently erase your EcoPoints history. To exercise these rights, contact the email below.
